Summerland States
The Sometimes Cause of Summerland States
Makes the many plumes Irate,
Because the Bejesus gets scared out of them,
And Acting Inappropriately tallies a win.
The cheese to the mouse is but a Delight,
But Indigent Bowels will often take flight,
With Gaseous Breeze of Lactose and Debris,
The Penetrant Pope was brought to his knees.
A coughing fit in time Ensued,
And the Balderdash of Bride and Groom,
Led them down the Aisle Of Doom,
Swept succinctly with a broom.
The Cake was Split with a hoe and a pick,
A guitar was strung near the butt of a gun,
So many were Tried that the nooses Untied,
Now we wear Collars emblazoned with Dollars.
