O gregarious porpoise boots

O gregarious porpoise boots,
Your scarred leather is but an imagining
Because our laws forbid your pointless death.

Take now to the flight of mind and see
The countless kin your spirits be
Enwrapped in the netherpool of greed.

Besmirch your hunger for our eyes;
Forget me not, your pale blue ties–
That bind you to the Merfolk sea
And cement you allegorically
To represent enough to keep you safe.

O you! My pale blue child–
Be wild and magnificent
Inspire us until you die
Until we vacate your lament
Inspire us to see ourselves
And birthrights that we give away
Inspire us to take the night
Reclaiming it unto the day.

Inspire us to bleed ourselves
Raw, unkempt, like the true reflection
Send forth the waves to drown lament
That character has long assassin
Been renown, been blockaded
Like a spoiled child, like a trampled dandelion.

Inspire us, to open the maw of reason
To demand our birthright.
To be as free as you upon the wave.
To not consume boots made by slaves.
To shoe ourselves in dignity
To reclaim spiritual prosperity
To become a nation of indigent vipers
Hell bent on biting the hand that feeds.
Hell bent in reason, hell bent in fury
Bulldozing subconscious wave manipulation
Calling a song to the ocean, and swimming free.
