Insecurities, My Weakness {An Original Poetry}

Time isn't a friend we forever have on our side
Life in its good and bad moments
The reality of this reality, sometimes is a torment.
Some lived only a fortnight
Some survived the fiendful dusk to die at dawning of a new sunrise.
And if you ask me of humanity, I would say "vulnerability"
Life is a sport we've learnt to participate
A game we never truly understood, yet to be played
It is the way of our existence
Alas, there's no such uncertainty as who's next in death.
And dream horizons of awesome heights till our last breath.
Even in the face of this odd expression
Lies a heartfelt celebration
If we look past the bad and focus on the good
Happiness is a choice, so we choose what mood.
Time to stop just being a souvenir, and let wisdom from above guide.
Learning to say appreciations to God who help us overcome
That way, we don't forget our existential source.
And even though some things are better left unsaid
Can't keep this thoughts bottled up inside forever, those insecurities are my weakness.
Now all I could think of is how savage weakness feast on man
Realized I had to take fight on elegant wings
But with a touch of confidence, rise through thick and thin
Not just by creating moments, but choosing what matters
Need to take flight...
Away from those insecurities, away and further.
