Social Mediaās worse for girls than boys where mental health is concerned.
Itās damaging to users of all ages actually, and there are lessons to be learned.
Teens are more susceptible, for depression to hit them quite hard,
And teen girls are even more the victim, with a āgreater riskā in that regard.
Girls also use social media more; only 4 percent of girls total donāt use it,
While 10 percent of boys stay away; itās filled with bad creeps that abuse it.

Heās done it for āseveral yearsā and now, will he get a seat on one of their boards?

The daily fabrications are so grand.

I can't really speak to mental health though I am a bit of a ballbuster on that topic, very little you can't solve with a belt. lies. not lies. Wait... people still think facebook has utility?
Can an animated .gif be a cover image? It would be quite a contrast from my current one of the peaceful morning low tide... ;)
Growing up, I had problems solved by belt, paddle and "switch." It's strange maybe, that I wasn't damaged by it to any degree I'm aware of, but I never used it on my daughter. But even if physical punishment weren't banned at this time, I don't know that it could battle the social media rabble-rousers. Taming all the hate on social media is going to require something bold and unique, or it will be the cause of all kinds of violence and even wars, IMO.
Yeah getting the people to seem more difficult than getting people to just not give a fuck. Think my gran taught me both with a belt, broom or a trip and kick whichever works but also if you can't hit then demean, belittle and alienate.... mmm I think I might be telling people to fuck their kids up mentally so they can be stronger , haha oh well some you win some you lose. It really is a thing of speak if you are hurt by words, process and analyze. Detach, alienate them and if you can't think of a comeback google one. Baby steps.
That's funny about the demeaning, belittling and alienation. Reminds me of how sometimes my "whippings" were right before we were going to visit relatives, or going shopping or something, and I would still be crying, and my dad would always dig at me and say, "Yeah, go ahead and keep crying, and then when we get to Aunt Evelyn's your eyes will be big as onions and they'll see you were bawling like a baby." That always worked to get me to stop, lol. I really do laugh about that when I think back on it. I grew up on a dairy farm that my dad worked at, and I spent most of my pre-15 year old self with my dad as he worked, and I'd "help" him. Learned to drive that way. I was really close with him, but he was a very mean guy when he got mad. Still though, the things I remember are the good times more than the bad. I think it's tragic in a way, that kids won't generally grow up having had real discipline instilled, or the kind of feelings and memories that I, or you, have had.
