My assistant is sitting on my lap because there is not much room as we catch a lift to the next meeting :) That slime was really cool, and how it seems to immediately kill off parts not required so it can keep growing out , in coding I guess a lot of that behavior is what you would find in search algorithms . also very much resembles some people I know when they are hungry.
You should've offered to massage your assistant's ears on the way to the meeting! 😂
Yep, using equivalent values to what the slime employs during its search, we could mimic its search process and get the same results pretty accurately. I don't think we could use it for helping hungry people locate food though, since people have brains and would waste a lot of time and energy looking in the normal places where food is located, and never think of looking where we've hid the food - in the washing machine - for testing the code!
