A POETRY ABOUT AGRICULTURE
SourceAgriculture is my way of life
Even though I never planned it to be
I found myself in it and have been proud
Learning the way of animals and crops
From the early stage till development stage
That's my job now and forever.
Agriculture is the real deal
Providing food for so many homes
So we can grow and develop healthy
Isn't that a very good thing?
Yes we deserve the glory
That may come our way in any form.
Aggressive chickens attacking
With their sharp beaks and claws
How about the cows and the pigs?
With a mood you can hardly predict
Yet we still care for them as one of us
With all the strength and money we have.
Have you had of tapers falling off?
From the palm tree when getting palm wine
Or bird flu hitting the poultry farm
Losing all the capital and investment
So many risks around
Yet we still push through to provide.
I love agriculture
And all the branches surrounding it
The height of going far
Just to provide to the nation
Even when machineries are not available
We do everything manually to bring out the best.
