SourceThis is my entry to the 5th edition of The Haiku Zoo by wonderful @poeticsnake and delightful @breezy. This edition theme is moments. Moments can be about time, it can be the period that defines something important in our lives and it can also be a part of our stories. The beauty is how much we have defined it to give it that definition that matters to the readers.
Haiku consists of 17 syllables in the 5-7-5 formation of three lines as seen above. It is common in Japan to define seasons and moments that we can actually hold on to. It can be powerful because it has lesser words to poems yet the definition comes out big to the readers.
Haiku is spreading and more writers and embracing it to define their thoughts, word combination and expressions. The readers have expressed satisfaction in what they have read because they get to understand the picture and context behind the short poetic expression.
