Strong enough to woo you,
Trying stupidly to be strong—
When I know it’s wrong.
I’m flawed and conflicted

My hands are covered
With the veneer of paint

To be with me,

Imperceptible to you,
Flowers turn and move—
You deny it, but they do.

But leave in the rapture
Of mermaids singing
Cloaked in clouds of spume,
Come away, colleen,
Incant the ancient mystery...
Let’s go dancing with the moon.
Life is learned by living, @johnjgeddes! It is acceptance rather than denial the only way we have to live. In the space that coincides with the loved one, more than difference, we must look for coincidences, return to the beginning, to the embrace that embraces everything. One loves from the recognition, from the certainty, but also from the uncertainty of the other and of ourselves. Nice night for you!
