In limbo
Abandoned to the dark
With rain trails
Down a window.
Sunday evenings are
Interminable enough
Heavier than clouds with rain,
Darker too and
Insurperable.
Perhaps you’re right
I am your priest
Or churl;
And you mistrust me
As Medievals
Mistrusted monks.
But as your priest
I offer sacrifices—
And you can take these lines,
Filled with the sweet scent
Of wind in pines
Tart with the lemon scent
Of spring buds
Cold rain and mud
Threatened with storms
And sudden floods...
Yet stirring your blood
With the faint smoke
Of the divine.

Oh what a piece, it calls to my peace,
The loneliness in this write up that threatens ,has my writing glee awaken,
Thy write up is spectacular and I must say in particular,
Rain, loneliness and mud
are some of the things that cure my writing bloc
