BROKEN {An Original Poetry} Day 95

untwisted, rendered ballistics,
a bond shattered asunder,
like spilled water gushing through the prism
of the rectangular rainbow
torn apart, a love, forlorn gone afar
like a decaying body, unborn.
never to blossom again under the yellow sun.
We're broken
Into microscopic tokens
unable to glue, into our imbued self,
like clattering swords and thumping hearts
like ants in disarray, bats in daylight
and sunshine in the midnight.
We're broken
sondering into myopic dimensions
where we're forever lost like burst bubbles
mango trees and rotten apples
compelled to be strangers to love, and cousins to hatred.
spirits unified, now diversified.
friendship annulled and kisses unreturned.
We're broken,
like a barricade, crashing
a water in a jar, splashing
we sleep in ignorance, basking in brutality.
We made friends with animosity
Only to birth lonesomeness and grief
never to know the sweetness of joy again.

Yes, we often are. Atomized, reduced to pieces of data. Sad flavour of modern existence.
Nice poem overall. Reference to ants reminded me opening scene of Indian movie Munnariyippu. There, ants are strenuously carring away corpse of lizard.
Do check my poem, if you wish, too.
