FOREST.

Whooshing, goes the weary west wind
around around In whirls as it weaves decaying leaves
into ziz zagged paths, and untarred zones
as it cycles again and again
The ding dongs of falling fruits into colourless waters
and the furious gushing of blue water downing the sloppy mountains
straight into the bayou
to return once more again in the haziness of winter.

The woodlands are like a duplex in paradise
a franchise into the forest's delight
as the nakedness of my feet,
Makes love to the harshness of the soil
Crunching dead layers like biscuits in the mouth.
a consummated union of silence and noises
like music to the very essence of the soul,
I'm dying to be reborn in nature's wombs

NOTES

Nature is deep, quick bigger than the mind can fathom, however it's the simplest things that tends to keep us in awe and marvel, countries with natural habitats are places where the images painted in the picture can really come to life, in a very important essence, animal and forest are a key factor to nature's existence and taking a look at the poems theme and subject matter; onomatopoeia (relating to sounds) the poems main focal point is to appraise the beauty of nature's sound, because apart from the physical and anesthetic beauty of nature, the sound is a key factor, it's used in movie making cartoon animations and even In sound effects.

POETRY COMPONENTS & TOOLS

Writing a poem about nature will definitely arouse an important literary device which is of course IMAGERY, the fact that nature appeals to the five senses, the only way you can bring it to life to someone originally not present, is to paint a mental picture to the largest pixels for the mind to interprete.

Another important tool will be repetitions, these repetitions can be consonants sounds or vowel sounds bu most importantly consonant sounds because they are more felt in the voice box, assonance and alliterations. For example in this line;

Whooshing, goes the weary west wind

The repetition of the W" sound In the above excerpt makes for a rhythmic purpose, it makes for a beautiful effect If it's taken into consideration or the poem is giving a musical effect as well.

The poem brings sounds to life, teaching students and young ones about the placement of animal sound in a poetic excerpt as well as entertaining. These sounds are complied and use not loosely but in a poetic manner to relay the essence of nature and it still gets to educate about the sounds of the animals in the wild.
