A cubicle spilling fumes,
pain running in us like runes,
joy is only alive,
in pencil and paper,
clouding the happiness that drizzles,
we're awake at night,
lantern on, crickets chirping,
the soul is pondering,
wandering plains and dimension,
unable to bask in thoughts
of tomorrow's sunshine.

The saddest rhymes resides in,
like a shadow beside me,
reminding me of scars,
blisters and wound,
dented in me by the haunting memories,
of you waking off the seashore
to never again set foot,
walking ontop the horizon,
seductively with your gaze,
set on the orange evening sun

Today we rhyme saddening lines,
for our past was our prime,
let's cook grief with thyme,
rosemary and onions,
for the sweetness of tears,
is in the wildness of the mouth,
so once more,
once more let us enthrall
like an angel,
dances at hell's gate

Today bestows no tomorrow,
no gory glory,
for in this mire, we tarry,
writing the saddest
drinking penury like wine
from the Olive of swine,
a wailing piano,
set in the sunniest of season,
till we write the saddest rhymes.
