Una canción de luceros
canta el ave nocturna,
manto tejido de luna
sobre su joven polluelo.
Ciñe la cálida pluma
la anchura del estero,
haciendo un mundo pequeño
al niño que ya se duerme
con un arrullo de cuna.
Ella lo besa y lo cubre
en la larga madrugada,
aunque sople brisa fría,
aunque la lluvia le caiga.
Es un amor de amor
en la noche y en el alba.
