      Some people find it satisfying to do so. They are used to it to they extent they don't even need to think deep before they spit it out.

      We all make ourselves used to it. We do it to "get along" – we do it to "keep the peace." Women, especially are told from the cradle "that's just how things are." What is left after a lifetime of that chip-chip-chipping away at our Self for the sake of someone else demanding it?
