JUSTICE FOR THE CHILDREN
I thought they were the bright future
Leaders of tomorrow we do call them
We say to them "Your future is bright"
We say to them "You are going to be great"
How come the great future is being oppressed and suppressed?
Meek in nature
Tender looking for a nurturer
But gets maltreated instead
Rights were given to them by our creator
But these rights have been stolen by the so-called caretakers
Too weak and young to fight for their rights
Too young to be abused
But yet abused.
God's blessings to us
Blessings given to us to adore
Blessings given to us to nurture
Blessings given to us to love
Blessings given to us to groom
But the opposite we do to them
These blessings are being abused on a daily basis
Being treated with dismay.
But they were made a carrier of burdens
A carrier of a bundle of burdens
Every day a great number of children are being abused by those that ought to be guardians
Their social life is being destroyed
Deprived academically
Molested sexually
Distorted psychologically.
A tear for the children
A war I want
A war for the children
A prayer I pray
A prayer for the children
A fight I ought to fight
A fight for the key to our future
A fight for the future's hope
A fight for the leaders of tomorrow.
I say no to their exploitation
And I believe we all can say so too
Let us be the real guardians we ought to be
Let's fight for the children
Let groom this young one with love and care
Every child have the right of getting a good and quality education
No child should be subjected to any form of hard labour
No child should be taken advantage of sexually
For no reason should a child be physically abused
Let's all say no to psychological, emotional, sexual, physical exploitation of the children
Let's take away the blade that is stuck into their heart
Causing unending pains to them
Let's enact laws against child perpetrators and abusers
Let's be the real caretakers we ought to be
Let's make the children the children they ought to be
Let's save the children.
