THE BROKEN MATRIMONY
Stabbed at the back, pains felt at the heart
Tears fall from the eyes down to the cheek
Weakened bones and muscles too lazy to fight
The heart bleeds, it bleeds blood
Home is being set aflame
Words were just words.
Loves were all fake
Home is kept burning in flames
No extinguisher of love to stop it
Blood bleeds all around
Betrayal is the other of the day
Vows were being said
Promises were made
Trust me they said
I will keep to my words
Will always be here for us
Vows! Vows! Vows!
It was all said at the altar
They promise to still be there for one another
No matter the condition
No matter what they face
No matter what trials they face, they will stay with each other
Some years went by
They were faced with the reality of life
The reality of life starts veiling itself unto them
They weren't strong enough to hold on
They made hasty decisions
Vows were broken
The waters were being tasted
A partner was betrayed and hurt
You won't understand
But just picture the scenario of seeing your beloved partner with another one
Your partner doing what ought to be yours with someone else
Eyes were turned red
The once lovely home was shattered
A peaceful home
A home once loved and admired by all
Products were made from the own
Beautiful products in the blessings of children
The products were caught in the middle
The children didn't understand what's going on between Mummy and Daddy
They pray a silent prayer to God to save the situation
But their prayer doesn't seem to work
The jilted partner goes on with the union at times
But the home is burning
Nothing seems as before
Nothing seems right
Love is gone
Trust has been broken
Other times they don't
They simply walk away with a shattered heart
A heart that will never be fixed
A heart that can be healed but a mark will still be left on it
A heart that has been taught not to trust anymore
A heart that has been taught not to love fully
The vows weren't just broken
Promises weren't just unfulfilled
Words weren't just not kept
A heart was shattered too
A soul was broken
KEEP TO YOUR MARITAL VOWS
This is emotional, I hope you heal from this. A hurt heart will always be healed by love no matter how bad we feel about it. Just heal for a while. Anyway, thanks for this piece.

There is nothing worse, no feeling more hurtful than that of a lover's betrayal...May the good Lord spare us from the pain. Some people recover by become hardened, some become distrustful, some never even recover from it...they just walk through life as shadows of themselves..horrible! I pray for healing for the hurting people around us in Jesus name. Beautifully done sweetheart.
