It’s been a minute since I’ve painted words with my brush
Words shaped in rhythm until the thought is kindred
Vivid colors stroked with a pen
searching all adjectives to see which will blend
Lines of formation create word flow
of imagery in motion stealing the show
Meter and rhyme gives voice to the end,
sharing emotions from deep within
Feel, touch, hear and see
a literary work created by me
