A Poem for Nature (Poem of Awareness)
the cold waters wet my feet.
I look at the sands to search,
for some seashells for my set.
there delicate gliding stunts.
So free above the clear blue sky,
without worries nor wants.
and the bountyful life it had.
Makes me wish I had the key
to this plentiful bounty, but too bad.
with natural treasures abound.
Yet human greed strikes it asunder,
such shameful acts astound.
yet we repay her with our blunders.
Such actions makes me want to cuss
berate them to stop this plunders
The world need not such actions,
what she need is our protection,
and, to stop those greedy factions
we need to sow the seed.
The seed of care and love,
for this world that we robbed.
