Monstrous Men and Fawn - Original Poetry
Broken hilts waiting, just a branch.
Ware the rock, turn ankle askance.
Poor deer stuck in deadly romance.
A smiling grill took you fast.
That startled animal pranced its last.
A rocky road smoothed over your fate.
At least that fellow won't be late.
Shunted aside and left for the crows.
Unfortunate says the fellow, animals shouldn't be on roads.
How touching that you would admonish yourself.
We all know who the animal is here...
