Swimming Against the Waves
Waves come rolling,
crashing me.
Mind is falling,
I feel free.
How to leave
a place like here?
Standing still
is met with fear.
Let it go
and don't look back.
Feel the flow,
your fears unpack.
Overwhelming, overjoyed-
every doubt in me destroyed.
note: when this happened it was actually super windy and (standing in the water) the waves went way above my head.. I didn't take pictures then.
