Once there was an old fisherman,
A kind and humble fisherman,
Everyday he went to the sea
To catch the fishes he could see
One day he was out fishing,
"I hope for a good haul" He was wishing,
But a storm came so sudden!
He was caught off guard and saddened...

"Will I see my home again?"
The old fisherman has a nagging feeling,
He might be lost at sea forever,
And see his home; never...
Suddenly the boat overturn!
He was grieving on the sudden turn,
The old fisherman is a good swimmer,
But he can see no hope, no glimmer...

The waves overpower him,
It looks like that it is for him...
As he was drowning,
He caught something with his hand,
This thing carry him to the open,
Where the air is fresh and clean,
When he came around he was surprised
Because now he's on dry land!

On a land he was familiar with
The island he grow up and did his feat,
He was amazed...
He was thankful...
The sea had saved his life,
He thought he will be joining his wife,
Yet he was fine and sound,
How could he not be astound?
He looked at the sea,
Then he smile at it with glee

Afterwords

Another light-hearted and mysterious story. Did any of you guessed what saved him? You don't? Too bad I won't be telling! I'll just leave it as a mystery...

Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed reading the story. I wish everyone a pleasant day.

Hmm, what could have saved him?. The sea, aliens, some random power?.

I have no idea, but what I do know is that this is a brilliant piece of poetry.

I vouch for the aliens, lmao. Just kidding. But then again aliens doesn't seem too farfetched. Thanks again for visiting.

"Living under the same sun..." That's quite poetic.
