I am going to go for gold and break the burden. I am going to go astral crazy. But I am no one.

But although I am no one, I came from somewhere; and I am worth something.

I have broken many walls to get this far in the mists of my becoming; suffered many failures.

Yes, I have been the hero, and the worthless thief. I have been many things; and maybe the end is near, but I am not a failure; for I am more than that…

I am the sudden friendship.

I am the thrill that seeks adventure.

I am that which sets out to arrive where I am, always.

Yes, I return home. I break my chains. I say no to what holds me imprisoned.

Enough is enough.

I am that which can never be tamed in all the cages there are.

I am the lion.

I am the songbird of love.

I am the snow at midnight.

    These are the descriptive words that come to mind. I felt, nay recognized, every phrase & stanza.

                  Oooh, I really like this one @wales! As usual I have a tough time picking out which line I enjoy best as it all strikes a chord. I suppose I don't have to pick, I can just take it all in its entirety and consume it whole.
