GIVEN AWAY

It's almost Valentine's Day. I don't do the lovers day thingy and @zizymena has already queried me for my lack of interest, so don't start.

This is a love poem below, I think. I speaks of something but I am yet to decipher. Enjoy.

I've got the dream in my head
Don't you want to hear it?
I've got the wind in my sail
And it's taking me to hell.
Don't you know the devil
Is in the details, yes?
Don't you feel the sand
In my hair, no?

I've got the jumper cables on
I'm gonna electrocute myself to death.
I know you wanna protest son,
But your lips clutching smoke
Lock your words in chains.
Don't you see that dreams do come true?
Don't you know that life is a fairytale?

I am holding on to you
Like lovers in a drowning boat.
I'm calling out your name
Like I own the way you walk.
I feel the wind in my hair,
I hear you moan so loud but i don't care.

Clutch the throne and weave a barricade.
Hold the blanket close and seize a palisade.
Who's the falling star on the puddle?
Who's the shining light on your lips?

Oh no, I am scared
I am dining with the devil.
Oh yes, she has gun
And she ain't scared to use it.
Oh see the sea as it weaves its magic.
Oh hear the wind as we fly, no drowning.

Feel my veins on your lips like a kiss.
Seal my lips like death, like grief.
Hit me, kill me, don't let me breathe
Cause I know my role
And it's nothing less.
I am given in truth
Like a virgin at an altar,
Like a lamb at a birthing.
