Why does life unfold in this manner?
Why does it always come off this way?
My pain why can't hear?
Why can't you feel it?
This is what I want to know.
Again, hear me.
At night hear my cries.
My fears help me face tonight,
Please tell me
Why ain't you always there for me?
Why are you not always available whenever I need you?

It's beyond anyone's understanding
To know who I am,
Where I have been to,
And even where I am going.
I ask myself,
Why is it always like this?
Now, I have an answer.
Nobody understands me,
My needs,
My wants.
People,
See can't you,
That I'm a woman in need.
