Ancestral melodies - Melodías ancestrales - 100 days of Poetry - Day 96

in #poetry6 years ago (edited)
Greetings, Steemians and companions from #steemitschoolpoetry. I bless the good of being able to share with you this day 96 in the direction of 100 days of Poetry. I thank the people who support me and who have read what I am creating for the challenge summoned by #steemitschool and @d-pend. Always waiting for your kind look and that you like them.

My musical theme that I connect to, between lines, with this creation is:Bella luna - Jason Mraz

"The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm is terrible, but they have never thought that these dangers were enough reason to stay in the port."

Vincent Van Gogh

Ancestral melodies

The deep sea touch ancestral melodies.
The fish are hidden sweetly in the depths,
and the fisherman, salty hand of plow,
take them out of the water flying
like little comets in the dark.

                                                                     They merge with the clouds
                                                                              and with the echo, slowly,
                                                                                               shooting the passions
                                                                                                        of sleepy nereids.

                                                          There, where they get numb,
                                                     and continues resting hearts
                                                rocking with luck,
to achieve the catch of the day.

              The look of the innocents,
                        in the burnished mirrors,
are full of tears of joy,
                                  who weave Penelope's braid into
                                            the docile moon, upon sea.

                                                          The short wind trip,
snakes on the strings of the harps.
They bring light to the house.
                                           there, where hope beats.

They walk together in the hostile tin,
                           where the fables awaken
                                and wet the full moon,
                                     between the threatening night rocks,
that would be honey of pink indigo,
if it was not because the job waits the other day.

To turn a daily grind into poetry is indeed majestic. BRAVO!!!

Thanks, Nicholas!

Very interesting , my writing yesterday was about fishermen, though not so eloquent :)

Hello @dmilliz! Yes, I noticed that you delayed the reading, but definitely you were interconnected with a day of difference. You wrote a day after my publication something about the art of fishing and you still have not read me. The muse swam in both :)

Yes is interesting how everything is interconnected. One mind, one heart, one love. Thank you dear poet:)

Truth speaking, I don't know how to choose just one of your poems as my assignment. I love them all.

This one has reminded me of Hemingway's 'The Old Man and the Sea'.

I see the similarity of booth on concept about life and the struggle on daily basis world.

Good job, @zeleiracordero amiga. Big hug!

Big hug, friend!
