Poetsunited has a new bot!
Good morning poets and poetry lovers!
As you will have noticed there was a lot going on on the bot front... There were too many different scripts running and they were getting buggy, as many of you have also noticied.
Well, i got tired of patching things up. So, since the bot needed a rest anyway to recover it's VP I decided to dive into it and make that new bot a reality. Now, mind you, 5 weeks ago Javascript was like Chinese to me but thanks to @yanosh01 i finally saw some light. Thanks bro! But anyway, i did a complete re-write, there is still some work to do and there might still be some bugs, oh dread! It also took a complete overhaul of the database, but at least now we have a humanly readable date in there to help us stay on top of any problems that might arise. Now i will remind you, i have only tested it with my own Discord account... So bear with me please...
The bot is now unified, we have one bot that does it all, well, except registering (for now). Just type #reg to find out how to do it for now... So, if you want to do any of the bot commands, go to the new "register-upvote-upcom" category and you will find the #reg-upvote-upcom channel... Do it all there, wheter you are a subscriber or a freevote user.
Which bring me to some great news for the freevoters: You also got the $upcom command now! So if you don't make a post on a day, you can upvote SOMEONE ELSE'S comment with it... Yes, just give it to a great comment :D

If you find a problem with the bot, which is not at all unlikely since i have just done a 16 hour coding marathon and my eyes have turned square, please dm me with the details. I will reward those who find bugs with upvotes from my end.
I, for one, hope to put this bot business to rest for a bit so i can write some poetry again.... Although coding is a lot of fun too...
Well, it is 4:20 am here and i am off to bed, hoping the bot will not crash before i wake up.
