Accusations of cheating in Stones Gambling hall cash game

in #poker5 years ago

The integrity of the poker world has been flipped on its head as there has been accusations of cheating in the livestreamed cash games at Stones Gambling Hall. The player at the centre of the acusations, Mike Postle, has had a god like run - having and unheard of 13 winning sessions in a row.

A couple of popular Youtubers have jumped in and given their opinion and analysed some hands, including streamers Joe Ingram and Doug Polk. Watching these videos it seems very suspicious, as the player can be seen looking under the table (presumably at his phone and access to the live stream) and always making the right decisions.

Although no charges have been made, the ramifications for streaming could be huge. Often there is a 'live stream' with a 30 minute delay. This could mean alot more strict rules and regulations. The old days of the ESPN streams of the WSOP are brilliant and it would be sad to see major changes to be made.

I have no idea if cheating occured, and it is up to the individual to do their own research and make their own conclusions. If you play any game at all and anything seems odd, then speak up! It is as much the responsobility of the players as the officials to keep games fair.
