World Series of Poker (Circuit Events) at King’s Casino Rozvadov (EN / DE)
Last Tuesday, me and a friend travelled to the Czech Republic. Our destination was the King’s Casino at Rozvadov, where the WSOP Europe started with a series of tournaments (Circuit Events).
Our plan was to play the 250€ Octoberfest and I shot more than just one bullet in this event. At my last try, I qualified for the second day of this tournament. I registered with Party Poker Live Dollars for nearly all of my tournaments that week. It worked perfectly and without any problems!
After playing with a short stack for most of the tourney, I was able to get back to average with only around 70 players left. 2236 players registered for the Octoberfest and around 250 places were paid. Short after I got dealt pocket Aces and busted against a naked flush draw for all of my chips. I finished 52nd for 1.362€.
The rest of the week, we stayed till Saturday, I was running really bad. Here are two hands I busted tournaments with:
The flop was A76 and I had pocket 77. We go all in on this flop and only an ace can help the other player. I got over 90% of equity in this spot and manage to loose!
The flop was 973 and we hold Aces. All in on the flop, sucked out on the river.
In general, the tournaments were really nice to play! The casino is beautiful and we met many new people.
Even if there is free buffet all day and night, the restaurant is worth a visit:
Prices are moderate and the food is much better than at the buffet.

Letzten Dienstag machte ich mich mit einem Freund auf den Weg nach Tschechien. Unser Ziel war das King’s Casino in Rozvadov, wo die WSOP Europe mit einigen Events startete.
Unser Plan war es das Octoberfest Event mit 250€ Einsatz zu spielen. Ich benötigte mehrere Versuche, um mich endlich für den Tag 2 zu qualifizieren. Ich hatte einige Party Poker Live Dollars gesammelt und nutzte diese für quasi alle meine Einsätze in dieser Woche. Die Registrierung vor Ort funktionierte einwandfrei und ohne jegliche Probleme.
Nachdem ich quasi das ganze Turnier über weniger Chips als der Durchschnitt hatte, konnte ich mich mit nur 70 verbleibenden Spielern wieder zurückkämpfen. Insgesamt registrierten sich 2362 Spieler für dieses Event und bereits ab ungefähr Platz 250 war ich in den bezahlten Rängen. Leider musste ich mich dann als 52. aus dem Turnier verabschieden. Pocket Asse waren dieses Mal nicht auf meiner Seite und ich verlor gegen einen am River gemachten Flush von König/Bube in Herz. Für diese Platzierung gab es 1.362€.
Den Rest der Woche, wir blieben bis Samstag, war das Glück dann überhaupt nicht mehr auf meiner Seite. Hier mal zwei Hände mit denen ich aus Turnieren geflogen bin:
Auf dem Flop A76 schafft es mein Gegner noch meine 77 zu schlagen. Ich habe hier über 90% Gewinnwahrscheinlichkeit. Die Chips gingen auf dem Flop komplett in die Mitte.
Der Flop war 953 und auch hier geht es auf dem Flop Allin! Auf dem River werden meine Asse dann von K9 ausgesucked.
Als Fazit lässt sich aber sagen, dass die Turniere dort super zu spielen sind. Das Casino ist schön und die Leute dort freundlich. Es ist immer toll auf solchen Trips neuen Leuten zu begegnen:
Das Casino bietet zwar 24 Stunden ein kostenfreies Buffet an, aber auch das Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert:
Die Preise hier sind moderat und das Essen top! Ich werde bestimmt bei Gelegenheit nochmal Turniere dort spielen!
