Limiting Free Speech

The Democrats want to limit free speech "to preserve the democracy. Is that the most Oxymoron statement you have ever heard or what? Then the Republicans want give President Trump the power to "shut down" the media. Free speech has a benefit that should keep people on their toes mentally. Fake news has been with us since the written word was invented. Having some wherewithal to discern what is fake and what is real is important. Same thing with health care. There should be a snake oil salesman on every corner so that people don't get sucked into hoax's and do not put physicians on a pedestal next to God.
