Assange finally arrested, a sad day, even in Nigeria.

Being in the crypto space, it is highly likely that most of us are against the consistent lies and fallacies that the governments of our respective lands have thrown up over the years.

Infact, one criteria for being a crypto lover is usually to be disillusioned to the tales that the banks tell and the banks and govts usually work together.

It is therefore no surprise that a lot of people in the crypto space we're actually upset when it was announced that Julian Assange had been arrested in the Ecaudor embassy in London.

Yes, Assange has supporters, even here in Africa, govt hostility and corruption is worldwide and Assange and WikiLeaks have done a lot to expose said deals.

For those of you who do not know who Assange is, he is the co founder of WikiLeaks, a very important and hated website where govt secrets and corruption methods of different govts have been revealed aka leaked over the years.

Wikileaos gave a lot of people insight into the dirty and despicable things govt officials usually do, in the name of serving the country and there are millions of documents that show that countries worldwide are as corrupt as anything.

For the last 5 years, Assange had been an asylum seeker in the embassy and was supposed to be protected at all cost, but the Ecaudor authorities made a deal with the UK and allowed police into the embassy, where Assange was eventually arrested.

It's hurtful, because Assange was also an early adopter of Bitcoin and actually wanted WikiLeaks to accept Bitcoin very early in the days, but was stopped by Satoshi who feared that Bitcoin was not strong enough.

This arrest shows that the world govts increasingly want to keep their dirty activities secret, while continuously subjecting the people to more and more suffering.

Hopefully he gets a fair trail and the people stand up for him, already condemnation is coming out from all over the world, condemnation against the US and UK authorities.
