Indoctrination Bias - Too Little Attention on the Youths

The easiest way to rewrite history has always been to start with those who have little knowledge of it. In this case, the very future of our political and social paradigm - the youths have been continually targeted, through various means, by an alluring but dysfunctional group with a keen eye to swinging the social structure permanently in their favor.

Too often the influence of millenias in shaping the social structure over the short term is often acknowledged, but brushed aside - other seemingly more pressing issue take priority. However, certain political events have awakened the passive observers of the millennia movement from their slumber. A good example were the Anti gun rallies that swept through America a few weeks ago.

It is quite obvious that a good these youngsters have been sold a narrative right from their classrooms and are all to willing to act, with great zeal, on those narratives. Instead of encouraging students to keep an open mind, or challenging students’ perceptions, teachers have been encouraging their biases.

During the last decade for instance, antipathy for millennials and their views has been something of a hallmark of the conservative movement. Subsequently poll after poll shows young people abandoning the right, and the feeling is evidently mutual. Despite losing young voters by a two-to-one margin in the 2008 election, Republicans largely shrugged their shoulders and decided the problem wasn’t the GOP, it was 'those darn kids'.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Opportunities exist for common cause between dissenters and the millennial generation, as long as leaders on this divide don’t simply throw up their hands and abandon efforts to connect to this generation. To do so risks the future of the 'independent' movement.

Political views are reasonably malleable for individuals who are newly engaged in politics, but those views solidify over time. It has been a decade since the alarms were first raised about the leftward drift of the millennial cohort, and time is running out for leaders to effectively make their case for why their ideas should matter to a millenia generation redefining the new era.

A movement that speaks to young Americans about a shared beliefs in freedom, economy and values and promotes independent thinking is urgently needed. We need to act faster.

I often here a argument that anarchy would turn into what Hobbes described as 'a war of everyone against everyone'.

What I see is that all the culture war is turning into exactly that. The lie is that the leviathan prevents it. The modern leviathan appears to be producing it.

The problem is Hobbes has been the cornerstone of Political Science for centuries. Scrubbing that nonsense out of acadamia would require more effort than burning it all down and starting over.

Excellent post as usual, keep it up.

To target the future is to target children who will lead in the future.

That's why ever more important that kids don't forget the education they are taught at home and how quickly they are taught right and wrong.
