Aren't you part of the reason government is running so shitty?

If you live in America, you often hear a certain party use the fact that it's government run to rally against healthcare for everyone...but they're not doing that because you won't have a choice in what's covered...which I think in some ways is actually a better argument. You should be able to pick a plan that covers whatever you want it to cover, if you can afford it. That is a rather large advantage of the current private system...but it comes at a very large cost...a very large cost that often actually means that you get healthcare that you might not even be able to use if you actually get sick...even after paying the large deductible many cheaper plans have. No, what they argue against is that many government things are very expensive and don't run well. Except mail. The mail system works really well.

But, the weird thing is that often these people arguing against governments running more things, because the government does a poor job doing some things, work in the government. The reason these things they complain about don't run well is because they do a shitty job and don't work towards improving government run programs.

When was the last time you heard a Republican fighting to get rid of government waste? Mostly they just fight to get rid of "entitlements". That would be things like programs for the poor and social security and things like that.

If they really had a problem with government waste, couldn't they try to get rid of the waste and see how they could improve things?

Wouldn't they cut military spending on programs that aren't even wanted by the military?

In one sense, I don't really get it, but I get it, it's all bullshit. They don't really care about shrinking government, they care about getting rid of anything that helps poor people, and cutting taxes to zero for the rich, and putting it all on the middle class. I hope I'm wrong with that, but sometimes it seems like that.

I personally actually am for the government wasting less money, taking less taxes, being smaller, etc. Well, that must mean I'm a republican, right? No. Because I'm against the government wasting money, and want it to be smaller, etc. While they say they are for this, often they waste so much money, and are unwilling to cut spending if it's for something that their donors support, like huge multi-billion dollar "defence" contracts, including for things that the military doesn't even want.

I don't care what party you are. I don't care if you think the government does a shitty job running various things. I care when you don't do your job, when your job is instrumental in the government running correctly, and then you complain that the government runs shitty. If you do that, you should be fired. With the government of course, that means someone that's more popular has to run and win your seat, which sucks.

I personally feel like healthcare is a necessity these days. We all have injuries and illnesses occasionally. We need to go to a health clinic or hospital or a doctor sometimes. So why shouldn't we just pay for these things together, to save money for everyone? Plus we ensure that the poor people don't fucking die, which I think is nice to do.

And if it wastes money, you fucking fix it, you don't throw it away.

And possibly hit your dumbass representative upside the head for not doing his fucking job fixing the problems in the government. You might want to hire your grandma for this job though, so you don't get arrested.
