I promised myself to be away from news and politics overall for it causes me a great deal of depression given our current situation; It's just too frustrating but I'm not going to take the post of brother @julianhorack lightly so here's my humble reply.

I don't understand how people can speak lightly about our situation and socialism overall without actually living it, I mean, do you leave in here buddy? That's too light in my opinion.

Let's go piece by piece because this is quite interesting. Before starting I must say that I'm Venezuelan and I'm currently living here. Although that doesn't necessary give me the reason on all the opinions I'm going to expose, it gives me some kind of edge for I'm here watching and living all the things closely and you don't.

I'm not going to talk about Iran, Syria, etc.. because I don't live there nor I'm that informed about their situation. I'm not ignoring the fact you pointed out though, They all have oil in common, so yeah I concur with your statement as I pretty much agree that USA wants our oil, gold, uranium, etc... As Russia, China, Turkey, and Cuba; My point is. is USA better or worse for wanting our Oil like the other aforementioned countries do? They all want our oil! What's the difference? Please enlight me.

Did you know most of the sanctions are against particular people from the "the goverment" and companies ran by figureheads? I have a long list but I'm not going to do the homework for you mate. Basically people from the goverment created their own private companies in order to import good and services, thing is, those companies have-had the chance to obatin US$ at a preferential price to sell them after on the black market to a much higher price and repeat the process. That started many years ago since CHAVEZ gave birth to CADIVI so allow that in the private and public sector and you'll have a destroyed country like mine. Make no mistake, the consequences of what we're living are caused by a vast corruption system that's been working like this for years; Heck they're still doing it through the CLAP system; I wonder who owns those companies.

Socialists sell you the idea of equality in all senses and a better future, nevertheless they end up being human and all of them get corrupted by power and riches. They take control of the media, the military forces, good and services (so you can rely on the state) and then blame everyone around but themselves. They also get the help of fake opposition parties, a must when you want to keep yourself in power for long.
