Ahead of the much anticipated meeting between Trump and Putin next week, Moscow is awash this week with Middle East movers and shakers, apparently eager to have a word with Vladimir Putin .

As the leaders of middle east are eager to visit Putin before the meeting,  there is some speculation in the media that a grand deal between the US and Russia, which would involve a re-balancing of power in the Middle East.

 Grigory Lukyanov, a Middle East analyst and senior lecturer at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow has commented that Putin is getting affirming and attaining more influence in the middle east region as Moscos offer solutions that US failed to. He commented:

 Russia’s strong point now is the ability and willingness to offer solutions to security problems. The US failed in that regard in Iraq and some other places 

Those of us who are familiar with history knows how much US wants, and needs to maintain their influence in the middle east because of various political and economical reasons. It will be interesting to see what will happen between Putin and Trump, I don't think that Trump can push his way around Putin. I am sure many of us waiting for the results of the imminent meeting.
