The simplicity of this commentary is what I appreciate the most. I guess we can have a nuanced look at the the pros & cons of murdering and starving your population or killing your returned POWs. But is it really necessary?

I'm sure there are those out there who would argue that communists wouldn't do those barbaric things in this day and age. They would argue that communists would not kill farmers (who does that these days?).
Communists would not expropriate their land, its current year after all.
Communists wouldn't mandate quotas based on race gender or the like
It seems the cost of road pavement will come down with an oversupply of good intentions.
