As a citizen of a non-USA country, what do you think of President Trump?

This seems to be quite the contentious subject at the moment doesn't it? I've heard Donald Trump be referred to by many names and most of them not good. He has certainly polarized opinion both within and outside the US. It seems like you cant have an opinion about the guy without someone shooting you down and telling you that you are wrong, It's similar to the Brexit issue in my native country, people are so passionate about it that it is hard to have a civilized debate about it without tempers fraying and in some ways that's a good thing i guess, people are starting to engage more in politics and starting to realize that these things do, genuinely, affect them.

There's a lot of global dissatisfaction in Politics and we can see it all across the globe - Marine Le Pen's surge in popularity in France, the rise of the far right in moderate Sweden, The UK making its attempt to break away from the EU, PiS in Poland...the list just goes on and on and I don't believe for a second these events are unconnected. Trump is another great example of how the disaffected, working classes in countries all across the globe are starting to bite back against the growing gap between rich and poor, lowering standards of living and access to health care etc etc. These guys have had a tough time for a long time, the global recession hit people like this hard, unemployment is rife and when someone like Trump comes along and talks to them about immigration and how, in his opinion, it has hurt their living and their country (another mirror to Brexit and how the idea of Brexit was sold to voters in the UK) People sit up and listen.

But to answer your question. What do i think about Trump. I honestly think it's not my place to have an opinion on him. American people voted him into power and wen they want him out of power they will vote someone to replace him. I hate the fact that your President is visiting countries in the EU and people are protesting against him. Whatever happened to the democratic process? America has been a long time friend t many countries within the EU and many countries outside also and so when the head of your state visits he should be treated with graciousness and respect as the democratically elected President. I wont deny that the guy is a little 'rough round the edges' and he's definitely made some pretty poorly chosen words regarding women and people of different cultures but maybe that's why so many people like him so much, He seems somehow more human because of his mistakes and people who don't really do politics relate to that.
