Is there a Nation Right to Land?

in #politics6 years ago

I think about this probably more than any non-native US citizens now.

Imagine for a moment that US citizens were rounded up and shipped on boats to Europe. Once they arrived, Europe doesn't have the resources to handle the influx, and former US citizens cannot return or they're shot dead in the ocean. Native people then write a book that chronicles historical events, and Europeans - much like Palestinians - are given a pariah in it - basically blanket-judged invaders bearing false beliefs (Palestinians are the Philistines in the Bible, the Hebrew word for invader)...

The point is:

Palestinians deserve better. Native Americans deserve better. And Israel and US Citizens deserve fair treatment for being born into a manipulated predicament that hurts others which is not the fault of this generation.

How we go about this will issue in the next era in the manner in which we choose. I suggest we help everyone live sustainably where we're at - replacing lawns with self-sustaining gardens filled with heirloom and native food and herbal medicine bearing plants and trees - while preserving wilderness areas including peoples' ecologically-acceptable access to them for camping, simple native-style living using ecologically-compatible survival techniques derived from the surrounding ecosystem, foraging, and swimming. We need to be able to legally be humans again, or it's going to be fascism/rental slavery from here forth - and that's not the future I am going to choose - but your choice is your own, and doing nothing also has its consequences.
