The number of people employed in the renewable energy sector worldwide reached a record 10.3 million last year, according to a new report from the International Renewable Energy Agency, an organization that supports countries transitioning to sustainable energy. The addition of half a million new renewable energy jobs was a 5.3 percent increase from 2016.

My thoughts on this news

According to these statistics, 43% of all renewable energy jobs on the planet are in China, this means China is moving full steam ahead with ditching fossil fuels and building up their renewable energy power sources. Trump's administration is not moving in the same direction, this means the USA will be left behind and China will be the leader in renewable energy production and also in manufacturing of solar and wind power equipment. The corporatists that are in charge of the US government want to make sure their oil and coal corporations continue earning profits for them. The American people are beginning to see the dangers of climate change so hopefully they will begin electing government officials that only support renewable energy production. Solar and wind energy are the future and the faster we implement it the better it will be for everyone on the planet...
