My thoughts on this news

More examples of a self destructing economy. As the rich get richer the poor and working class have to compete for jobs that work them like slaves and don't pay enough to cover their expenses, all while the rich who do not work get all the profits. American corporations left the USA because they did not want to pay Americans fair wages so they moved to China and this is how they treat workers there. People have horrible working conditions and they work non stop with hardly any days off and make about $2.00 per hour. Yet Amazon is one of the richest corporations on the planet. This is how economies are destroyed, when all the profits go to the top while the majority compete for jobs that do not pay enough to cover their daily expenses...

How about using our consumer power to address this?

Yes, definitely, people vote everyday with their wallet. Choosing what corporations/businesses you want and do not want to give your earned money to is the best way for the average consumer to protest corrupt corporate business practices...
