La statue du Chevalier Bayard est visible sur la place Saint-André à Grenoble.
Pierre Terrail seigneur de Bayard, né en 1475 et mort en 1524. Ce noble Dauphinois s'est illustré pendant les guerres d'Italie.
Son surnom et le chevalier sans peur et sans reproche.
Resté fidèle à la Charte de la vieille Chevalerie Française en un siècle brutal et dépravé, BAYARD homme d'honneur de foi et de bonté a bien mérité le surnom de Chevalier sans peur et sans reproche

aux quatres coins de la statue sont gravés ses faits d'armes et une partie de son histoire.
