A Steemit Challenge: Don't simply make content - connect with it!

Hi steemit FAMILY

How would you invest the greater part of your energy in Steemit? Composing posts, or understanding them?

Odds are it's the first. Possibly you sign in, look through the slanting feed to see who's profiting today (and have a calm sob when you check your own, similarly small income), and upvote a post or two. Perhaps you read something you like and even leave a remark. In any case, in case you're anything like me (up until this point), truly soon you proceed onward to the reason you signed on in any case: beginning your next magnum opus - you know, the one that is at last going to make it to the highest point of the inclining page and set you up forever!

So what's the issue?

It took me a while to understand the issue with this present: everybody's doing it.

Rather than investing our energy perusing through the staggering volume of incredible substance that is always being delivered on Steemit, and investigating the world through other individuals' thoughts and stories, we invest the greater part within recent memory slouched over a virtual written work area, fixating on making the ideal post that everybody (particularly the whales) will believe is extraordinary.

However, in the event that everybody's investing this energy in the composition page, disregarding the superb universe of substance that is out there, who will be there to peruse this mind blowing piece you've been dealing with for quite a long time?

Like the vast majority here, I put a ton of exertion into my written work (all things considered, it's something I improve the situation a living outside of Steemit), and as a general rule I see my posts get a decent few upvotes straight off the bat before gradually decreasing as the post gets covered by more up to date content. On the off chance that I've composed a great piece I may get a touch of footing, or in case I'm extremely fortunate some prominent marine life will swim by and give me a lift, yet this doesn't occur as frequently as any of us might want. Just by looking down the 'new' feed, you can perceive what number of individuals are having comparable encounters!

What this lets me know is that individuals are making much more substance than they read. We're investing excessively energy securing ourselves away in the composition room, and insufficient drawing in with what's being composed in the outside world. Doesn't that sort of go against what Steemit is about?

How would we settle it?

This is an issue, and one we can just fix by changing our outlook. In the event that we need Steemit to develop and flourish, we need to help content as much as we make it - and this implies setting aside the opportunity to peruse and additionally compose. So my test to every one of us on Steemit (counting myself) is as per the following:

For consistently you spend composing, spend one more hour perusing, curating, and remarking on others' work.

When you distribute a post and see it show up on the 'new' feed, pick one underneath it to peruse - and I mean truly read. Draw in with what the essayist is stating rather than simply skimming through.

For each remark you get, go to that client's own particular blog, read one of their posts, and give a remark consequently. Far and away superior, on the off chance that you like the sort of substance they create, tail them!

For each upvote you get, go and give one - ideally to a post you truly appreciate. That implies in case you're sufficiently fortunate to nail a post that gets several votes, don't simply race back to the composition page to begin on your next potential money dairy animals - it's a great opportunity to get curating!

On the off chance that we as a whole focus on this test, we'll before long observe a move in the manner in which Steemit works, and I'd will wager individuals will be significantly less debilitated by new posts, much more engaged and educated by really captivating with content, and much more joyful with the system generally speaking.

Things being what they are, who's with me?
