Don’t look at people the way they are, but for who they can become!

Today’s message with my first cup of the day is, “Don’t look at people the way they are, but for who they can become!”

This was something my friend Paula said yesterday. It is so easy to take our initial perception of people and not realize their potential. Because of his weakness in language skills as a child, Albert Einstein’s teacher thought he had a mental disability and said to his father in a letter, “It doesn’t matter what he does, he will never amount to anything.”

It is like the caterpillar. We can’t base its future appearance on its present appearance. Someday it is going to become a beautiful butterfly. Don’t prejudge people.
