A Day in the Life of Someone

Everyone knows that life can get very busy and hectic no matter how old a person is - society demands certain things from us all.
We must work to get an income in order to live, families must be raised and cared for - so many aspects to a single life that everyone is exposed to.

BUT ..
Do we really know what it would be like to stand in another's shoes?
Do we even bother to think of how that person is doing - do we even care?

A brave face and a smile does not mean that all is o.k.
Sometimes, the less a person says is often an indication that all is not well.

Social media keeps us in the loop with things that are going on in the world but it also fills our heads with stuff that we do not need to know and as a result stops us from seeing the things in our lives that are right under our noses that are ignored completely.

And then one day it is too late.

"If only I had known ..."
"Why didn't I see this? ..."
"I could have ..."
"I would have ..."

These are the words so often said when it is too late.
