Crowdmind - "Love Your Steem Communities" - A PowerHouseCreatives Contest

Greetings, everyone!

I am writing this introduction of the @crowdmind community as a part of the initiative started by @zord189 of the #powerhousecreatives (A.K.A. @steemitbloggers) community. This is an internal contest to spread the love and share our knowledge of others who also work hard for the benefit of the blockchain and all of us here.

As @zord189 wrote,

We're all on the same boat.

And I will be happy to help and coordinate those who row to new lands. I think we're all doing great and we can do even better with better knowledge and understanding of each other.

So I have chosen the #crowdmind because there's more than one project there, more than one specific group of people. There's a general idea. To empower the crowds - the many and the deserving better.

The leaders of whom I know and I am in contact with now and then are @hidden84 and @svemirac. There are others working with them, too.

So, @crowdmind has also a @crowdwitness account and a curation trail that all support projects fitting their ideals. Their site is https://www.crowdmind.io/ and also, there is a WhitePaper to show what it's all about.

I will tell you some of it here and some examples that I know of...

Crowdsourcing

not only Crowdfunding but ways to utilize the resources already there in order to facilitate the birth of products - from the crowd and/or for the crowd.

Crowd Wisdom

What one is not able to learn or remember somebody else might know. We are witnessing such knowledge running across the Steem blockchain, enriching us all. Sharing it and repeating it is done by not one but many and thus it is continuously there when we need it. It's also about combining skills and capabilities on a common goal.

Crowd Creation

is about recognizing the potential of activities involving the crowd. And developing it, hopefully to products or services people will be happy about. Suggesting, taking part of, giving feedback, editing, rewarding...

I have introduced the @bananafish to @crowdmind as part of my very rare curation there and now those communities work together. They were able to come up with a great Choose your own adventure type of book a few weeks ago. And I hope that collaboration will continue. As well as that with contest creators such as @axeman and @worldcapture.

Crowd Voting - in terms of taking decisions together. It's like a marketing research that can be done on the blockchain. Where to take that project - where do you actually want it?

What can and what do they do in general?

I will use another quote:

Crowdmind as Steemit community project will support all users who recognize
crowdsourcing potential and create content or take actions which could be described as:

 Raising the awareness about theoretical aspects and importance of crowdsourcing and related
topics.

 Crowd creation initiatives, crowdsourcing creative tasks and all other activities that encourage
the crowd creativity.

 Crowdfunding projects which are aimed at community problem solving, supporting the local
initiatives around the world or any other topic which could benefit people and the quality of
their lives.

 Crowdvoting in any way which motivates the deeper involvement of the crowd. Although this
crowdsourcing manifestation is directly present through the voting on the platform it is
important to connect this practice with as much activism as possible.

 Crowd Wisdom in its widest sense. Given that this is the most important principle without which
crowdsourcing is not possible, the project will endeavor to reward as many initiatives that
engage the masses in carrying out the most diverse tasks. Special attention will be paid to
content which contributes to science debates, problem-solving in local environments and
promotion of the platform in communities that have not yet been introduced to it.

So, if you happen to come across a thing that could improve something for the people, be sure to invoke the @crowdmind. Don't forget the @crowdwitness is there to support you and could use your support!
