A Cake with a story

It was my roommate's birthday and oh boeyyy we have a story here.

So the white cake was sent by her sister-in-law. I ordered a red velvet cake for her at 11pm after coming from office but my cake got delivered at 1:45 am. While all that, we kept sitting, waiting for cake, guiding the delivery boy to our address.

It was such a pain- the guy parked his scooter somewhere and then we was on foot. He had no gps and houses in Indian City's sector are scarerred like crazy. Plus that guy had very poor skills in understanding location. It was a prepaid order and the guy was trying to locate us and that is the only reason we did not cancel the order. We stood in balcony and kept guiding him for more than 60 minutes - it was a real torture for both the parties.

To add on, when the cake arrived - it was horirble. Fresh cream on stale tight sponge and no decoration. Just a cake with red velvet smothered over it. My heart was broken and I felt insulted. My roommate on the other hand liked the cake but I was embarrassed. I compalint to the bakery later on but yeah our experience was spoiled. Hmmmm
