I admired this elegant building at the time it was built. Finally, I enjoyed her as I sat down - I crossed the Vltava river from Troja to Holešovice. The newest of almost thirty Prague bridges, designed by the studio "Roman Koucký architektonická kancelář", has a height of only 200 m at the span of 200.4 m, which is one tenth, which puts it at the forefront of the most unique bridge constructions in the world. The total width of the bridge is 35.25 m and is divided by the arc construction into individual lanes. With the complex play of geometry and optical deceit, the whole construction appears symmetrical, longer and narrower than it really is.

The Troja Bridge is part of a set of the Prague Ring Road and connects the Partyzánska Street in Holešovice with the area of ​​Povltavská and Trojská streets on the other bank of the Vltava river in Troja. It measures a total of 262.1 meters and is a worthy wide 36 meters. The total height of the supporting structure is 34 m above the maximum navigation level of the Vltava River. Interesting is the subtle construction without support in the river and the low height of the arc.
The bridge is part of the Blanka tunnel complex. It is followed by a tramway, two lanes for cars in both directions with pedestrian walkways at the edges. The bridge elegantly bridges the Vltava river with a bold arc that minimizes the panorama of the city. From a design point of view, the configuration of the bridge and the materials used, this is a unique worldwide construction.

It is undergoing a reconstruction, but the trams have begun to re-start it again (April 2018). It would probably rather go down and build a new one, as the repair may even go awry, and if not, then the follow-up maintenance will certainly be so expensive that ultimately the really new one came out better and it would be maintenance-free for a few years. that's my modest opinion.

Very nice, all made of reinforced concrete. But I probably would not buy it at home, we have a small backyard. The prick was quite expensive, and the money could be lit at night for at least all the bulbs that are there.
