Google Photos made my animated gifs

This feature has been around for awhile now since Google Plus started. Apparently its now an embedded feature in Google Photos ! What you have to do ?? Literally just enable photo sync on your ANDROID phone and it should be able to keep a copy of all your photos online.

The Photo below was a automatically made just by taking several shots in the almost same location, Google will then Stitch it up and there you go !

 

How to access this feature ?

Just login to your gmail and then goto this url : http://photos.google.com . On the left site of the screen you will Assistant . Click on it and you will see the stuff google has been messing with on your photos.

 

Check out this photo which google applied some Styling just to enchant the image.

Even if you had videos uploaded to google photos and sync. It would somehow find a way to create an animated gif out of it. Here was a video clip which I took and Google animated that too !

Conclusion

No doubt this is a great feature to have and YES I must admit that it does surprise you at times. But can you imagine the amount of big data which Google has as they are able to access not only your photos but everyone's photos and videos !

I do totally understand the challenges in terms of privacy and such , however unless you go totally off-grid and off-line and don't want to be found by anyone else , I don't think it really matters that much, just make sure you setup your security settings so that sharing and viewing can only be done by you.
