HOW ARE THE TAGS DOING?
A few people have been asking for some headline statistics on the promo-steem tag. So here is just some selected highlights for promo-steem and a few other fast growing affiliated tags over the last 6 weeks.
PROMO-STEEM
Tag # 88
Close to 300,000 Lifetime SBD Payout

NOTABLE COMMENTS
In terms of the rankings #promo-steem has only gone up one place in the TAG rankings in the last six weeks. However, there is an explanation.
This is explained by the fact that promo-steem has leapfrogged over #recipe, #review, #ita and #howto but at the same time there have been some very fast growing tags that have leapfrogged over promo-steem being #jjangjjangman popular in Korea, and the tags #game and #dsound.
Promo-steem is still expected to climb the rankings over #minnowsunite, #tutorial and #steemiteducation in the next few weeks so should see a jump up to #TAG85 in a few weeks.
PROMO-STEEM & FRIENDS
STACH and TEAMMALAYSIA doing particularly well over the last 6 weeks. Realy great to see their progress both in the blogs in the their respective tags but also in the stats -seeing them move up the ranks.

Just out of interest, would you know how I might discover info on the best tag to use for my video work?
I'm just not sure if there is a popular-ish one already that video creators use (outside of dtube)... 'Photography' seems popular but 'videography' for example isn't a thing (yet)
Hi Ash, I've not looked at these to see if these are appropriate: but try #video and there is clearly support behind #dlive and #dlive-broadcast. Other than that - I think your best bet might be using the search facility to find any other established professional videographers and have a look at the tags they use. You might find the best reward/return is in the ones with the support behind them as opposed to holding out for the one which is most appropriate for your art!
Oh yeah I forgot about 'video'! D'oh!
I tended to avoid it as it seemed too much of a blanket tag, as it's used by anyone posting any kind of video, not strictly used by those who shoot and produce it etc. But maybe I'll give it another go.
You're right - the more audience for potential rewards is a huge factor!

finally i can see the post about increasing promo-steem tag.
this is a big improvement and we are all happy with this improvement and will be the motivation for the promo-steem team to work better and hopefully we can reach number one in the next few weeks.
I am very pleased with this improvement and I am with the peomo-steemrural team will work harder to contribute and maintain our consistency to continue the promo-steem mission, so that investors are interested in making investments.
