The Value of SmartCash (SMART) - Potential Sinergy between #SmartCash and #Promo-Steem (Part 1)

Hi Steem Ambassadors and Steemians,

After my idea about a potential sinergy between #SmartCash and #promo-steem , @starkerz asked if I could explain about the value of SmartCash.

To explain this I will focus on the following 2 important things about @SmartCash:

1- What is SmartCash and What feature it has that is great to make a Synergy
2- How did I get into SmartCash for the first time and how Some very know people like the Steem Witness @lukestokes has been with SmartCash almost since the beginning

1- What is SmartCash and What feature it has that is great to make a Synergy

SmartCash is a community driven cryptocurrency. As it mentions on its website: https://smartcash.cc/

SmartCash is a community governance, cooperation & growth focused blockchain based currency & a decentralized economy.

Compared to Bitcoin that gives all payments to miners, on SmartCash 70% of the block reward has been allocated to fund SmartHive community proposals as well as the Hive Teams. 30% of the remaining block reward has been allocated to Mining (5%) and SmartRewards (15%) and SmartNodes (10%).

It has 3 great pilars: SmartHive, SmartRewards, and InstantPay.

I want to focus on the greatness of SmartHive, so I will briefly explain SmartRewards and InstanPay, and then explain SmartHive.

SmartRewards are rewards that users get for just holding 1,000 or more SMART on a SmartCash official wallet, this can be a desktop or a very easy to use web wallet (https://smartcash.cc/wallets/). More on SmartRewards can be found here: https://smartcash.cc/what-are-smartrewards/

InstantPay is a feature about the instant transactions. Its easy to check the SmartCash road map at the bottom of this link: https://smartcash.cc/roadmap/

As of today it is possible to send SmartCash via Email. See a previous post I made about it here.

Another great project is the tipbot, on Steem it is called @smartbot were any user on the steem blockchain can tip other users by sending SMART. I sent 10 SMART to @starkerz (https://steemit.com/promo-steem/@smartbot/scashbot-20180512t205942881z#@gold84/re-smartbot-scashbot-20180512t210020186z) the other day, which the value was of a bit above 1 USD dollar.

By the way @starkerz , if you click reply on any post anywhere, and then enter the following: [@smartbot balance] without the parenthesis, and send the message, then you will see your balance (you will get a reply from @smartbot). And you can transfer that to your SMART wallet, or even to Bitshares, by using the Crypto Bridge exchange. I can tell you how to do it if you are interested.

Focusing on SmartHive, SmartCash allows the community to control the fate of the coin, the governance, the budget, usage and encourage community development.

If you go to: https://vote.smartcash.cc/ you will see the SmartHive governance portal. Here is were people submit proposals for the community to approve. If proposals get more upvotes than downvotes within 2 weeks period, then the funds are delivered to the smartcash wallet of the person/team that submitted the proposal.

I then continued learning and read this 2 great posts from @lukestokes

This 2 posts really convinced me that I had to give it a try because everything looked very interesting. Thanks @lukestokes for getting me to learn about @smartcash even more, and finally got me investing a bit on it.

@lukestokes was able to buy SMART when it was at just 2 cents, and then it went to around $1.50 to $2 when Smartnodes were launched. Now it has gone to around 11 cents, and I believe its a good time to buy more.

Would be great to hear a little thought on the comments about SMART from @lukestokes .

To avoind making it to long, I will continue with the following details in another post. It will be the second part.

2- How do we put controls in place to limit spam, and how do both coins (SmartCash and Steem) benefit from this?
