Steemit/crytocurrency Promotion

I have really been off this grid for a while, this has been as a result of an engagement offline, I will tell you about it.

Over the weekend I was opportuned to speak at an event themed Social Media Hangout in Delta State here in Nigeria, the event which was birthed by @nesis was aimed at helping the youths within this geographic location embrace the opportunities available within the digital marketing and tech-space, it was only limited to just the digital marketing sessions alone but also a crytocurrency session was place to help these youths understand what adoption of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology will mean and represent for them and the country in the long term.

The crytocurrency and blockchain technology session was taken by myself, during this session I was able to enlighten the participants of what the true definition of cryptocurrencies are as opined to there already clouded thoughts of linking crytocurrency knowledge with that of Ponzi schemes and multi level marketing which had come to be the common definitions for crytocurrency and blockchain technology during the boom of these schemes in 2016 in the country.

After the atmosphere had been cleaned on what crytocurrency and the blockchain technology really means, I was able to introduce the to the basic ways by which any individual can be truly involved in crytocurrency and the blockchain technology, this brought us through an extensive explanation of what crytocurrency airdrop was, how to get involved with ICOs, requirements to become a crytocurrency trader, as well as way and markers to help them understand the crytocurrency market, the last session of the learning was an introduction to how steemit really works and how to also be involved, during the event I happened to meet a steemian in person of @estherlove1.

After this training session, the enthusiasm in the faces of these young individuals told alot of their willingness to get into the crytocurrency space, this is actually a win as we look forward to ensuring crytocurrency and blockchain adoption in Nigeria and Africa as a whole is facilitated in no distant time.

I am happy to say that a new crytocurrency community has been birthed in the Delta State here Nigeria and I am happy to be a part of the the catalytic force behind it.
